About Hockman Girl Handcrafted, LLC:
I'm the last of the Hockman Girl's, meaning, the last girl raised by Merl & Leone Hockman (my Great Grandparents) and instilled with the values and legacy that they left behind. I come from a long line of hand-crafter's, artist's, and creative people. I've been drawing, crocheting, sculpting, writing, and creating in general, as far back as I can remember. I always longed to be able to share my creativity and artistry with the world. In the beginning of 2011, I was presented with the opportunity to do so, and I have not looked back since.
I use my art and handicrafts, as a means of supporting my other passion, our farm animal sanctuary M & L Hockman Ranch. It began the Christmas of 2011, with eight Chinese Swan Geese that someone dumped at the local wetlands and quickly progressed from there to horses, goats, chickens, farm cats, pigs, peafowl, more geese, etc., etc., etc. The animals here are my greatest joy, and everything I do is for them.
